How It Changed My Perspective.

Catching Fire is the book that changed my perspective ever so greatly.  This book is all about hope.  After the Hunger Games, there is the annual event that the District winners have to attend.  Katniss and Peta were the winners and they had to partake in the event again the year after.  If I were them, I would be completely hopeless.  Why?  Imagine this.  You just win a life or death event, and now, you have to go back.  That’s what they went through.  But through the eyes of Katniss, we see that there is hope for everything.  They were always hopeful to survive.  They were confident because of their last victory.  With that, I found out that there is always hope.  What I can take away from this book is that there is always that little bit of chance for you to await.  How has this come into my life?  Well, for some reason, it relates with games.  League of Legends has a Ranking system where the better you are, the higher rank you are placed.  And I would always give up and just stop playing to be a better and higher rank.  But I realize, there is hope and with hard effort, I can make it to the top.  Also, there is many times where I believed that hope was useful.  For example, I really enjoy having Mr Sugino as a teacher and hoped he’d come back, and what do you know, he came back.  Although hope is a small subject and word, it can have a huge impact onto anybody's life.  The book I read as a My Choice for my summer reading, Catching Fire was a great reason to give me hope.  Seeing both Katniss and Peta once again was a hopeful moment. There is always hope if you believe so.

Reccomended Read Book

How to Train Your Dragon, no, not the movie, but the book.  Written in 2003 a fantastic read for the beginner of all beginners to read.  How is this my, recommended book?   Well, this book may seem like a childish, dumb book, but in fact, the storyline is incredibly interesting and fun to read.  Imagine a world, where you come across a dragon, and, he or she is your dragon!  But there is one problem.  You can’t communicate with the dragon.  So the protagonist Hiccup tries his best at learning the language, Dragonese.  Sounds stupid right?  But in fact, this book covers a lot in just about a hundred or so pages.  As this book is very old, I am sure not many of you have heard about it.  Or maybe have seen the movie instead.  Me on the other hand, I have not seen the movie before, but I have read the book instead.   Some say that books are way better than the movie, and I have hope for this book.  There is some interesting art in some of the pages to keep you interested in the storyline.  Toothless is a stubborn baby dragon.  Imagine a student in HIS who doesn’t agree with anything, thinks he's always right, and doesn't listen to people.  Thats basicly me.  And reading the book about Toothless the dragon made me very interested.  The storyline is great and extremely easy to follow.  The vocabulary is also very simple and although it may be a childish book, there is a lot to learn from it.  Seeing someone trying to learn a language is incredibly fun.  As there may be some times where he says the wrong thing and the dragon is confused.  Because of this book being short, there is not much I can say about it other than it is a great read.
