MYTH: A Traditional Story

In ancient times, parents would read their childrens myths.

FW: The bridge should remain as a deadly myth forever.

D: Although this story is a myth, it is still very interesting to read about.

 

STYLE: A manner of characteristics

Hiro's sense of style is very terrible.

FW: It is very unstylish.

D: The writing style is very easy to follow and understand.

 

APPEAL: Urgent Request

The color yellow really appeals to me.

FW: It wasn’t very appealing.

D: This story easily appeals most audiences because of the stories length, and plot.

 

CHARACTERIZATION: Portrayal

The drama students had nice characterization.

FW: After getting the cut, I realised that I have the characteristics of a mortal being.

D: A person with terrible characterization. 

 

PLOT: Storyline

The ending of a climax is usualy the plot.

FW: Long story short, the plot of the story is, I got hurt really bad and I still have the remains.

D: Once the story reaches the plot, things start to get more interesting as it settles down afterwards.

 

LEGEND:  A nonhistorical belief

Hiro is a legend to some people.

FW: Hiro became a legend to the school of U-Hill.

 

CLIMAX: Most intense point

The climax of the story was very exciting.

FW: After the bridge, there was a metal step leading higher towards the playground. Now here’s the climax of the story, I fell and hit my forehead on that step and started bleeding very badly.

 

JOURNEY: Traveling from place to place

I went on a journey in my backyard and got stuck in snow.

FW: I now go on several outdoor journeys but i am always cautious.

D: Because of Zeus’s journey to earth, a new population is created.

 

MORTAL: Subject to death

I am not a mortal human being.

FW: After getting the cut, I realised that I have the characteristics of a mortal being.

 

FATE: Fortune

My fate is to die some day.

 

MASS:  A body of coherent matter

There was a mass extinction of Hiro's in the pervious world.

FW: The mass amount of blood scared many of the people on the playground away.

 

CONFLICT: A problem

People go through conflicts in their lives.

 

EPIC: Majestic, impressivly great

The flood cycle, the most epic story of the book.  

FW: So in our school, we had this epic playground we can play on during recess and lunch, it as always very chaotic.

D: The Flood Cycle, the most epic story in the whole book. 

 

ANCIENT: From great age

In ancient times, Hiro was not born yet.

 

DIVERSE: Various

HIS has a very diverse student population.

 

CHAOTIC: Crazy

Hiro can sometimes be a very chaotic boy.

FW: So in our school, we had this epic playground we can play on during recess and lunch, it as always very chaotic.

D: Most of the people did not see this whole chaotic flood coming to them.

 

BROAD: Wide selection

Hiro has a very broad mind, allowing him to be social.

FW: After I got the stitches, I had to wear this broad thing wrapped around my head.  Because of that I did not want to go to school.

D: Even though this story is very short with a straight forward meaning, when thought deeply, the possible meanings are very broad.
